Fly fishing gear you’ll need…
We recommend using  4-6 weight fly rods for most of our fly fishing, with a matching weight reel and floating line.  A pair of chest waders, landing net, and a vest or pack well stocked with a wide variety of flies, tippets, leaders, weights, and indicators is a must.  Minimum 7.5 ft. tapered leaders (3x to 6x) and tippet in the same sizes are recommended.
 
We can help with fly fishing gear you need…
If you need some of the items listed above, we have some options to help fill in the gaps.  We provide rental of rods/reels/waders and leader for a $50 per angler per day fee.  We also have a great selection of fly fishing tackle for sale, including fly line, leaders, tippet, weights, indicators, fly boxes, hemostats, clippers, floatant and nearly 200 patterns of flies chosen especially for our waters.
 
We also offer a unique option to equip our guests with all of the terminal tackle (flies, leaders, tippet, weights, indicators, etc.) they may need for the trip with us for a daily fee of $40.  This has worked out great in the past, and simply involves the guide providing all the terminal tackle for the guest throughout the day.
 
In addition to the fly fishing tackle we offer, you can also pick up souvenir hats and t-shirts to help you remember your trip with us.
